Coaches and their Extraordinary Results

Q: Can you share with me what a coach does to help executives to produce extraordinary results?

A: Firstly, all good coaches believe that there is a path forward, no matter how futile the situation appears to be. A Coach listens deeply to really know the executives’ situation, their goals and aspirations and what they think are the best ways to handle them. The Coach also asks provocative questions to make shifts in the executives’ thinking or frame of mind; and will then co-create with the executives and stretch their thinking to find options for the best answers to emerge. Finally,  commitment is elicited from the executives so as to hold them accountable to what they agree to do.

POWERFUL QUESTIONS

  • What is their current situation?
  • What are they doing well already?
